Lone Star Championships - January 23-25, 2009
Don't forget to register for the Lone Star Championship weekend. This year, there will be a Blues Room, Blues DJs, and a lot of Kick Butt Blues dancing. Full details are on www.lonestarchampionships.com
It's going to be a great weekend - check it out:
* Kick Butt Blues late-night dance on Thursday
* Special Blues room all night Friday and Saturday, where the music never stops!
* Soul Jam! on Sunday!
All with amazing DJs like Steven Watkins, Tina Davis, Keith Shapiro, Jerry Warwick, and Chance Bushman to list a few.
There are also workshops during the day on Saturday and Sunday with some of the country's top instructors. And if you'd like to compete, there is a Strictly Blues competition and 4 levels of Lindy Jack and Jills so you can compete with like-competitors!

It's hard to believe that our first KBB was only last May and KBC only opened last February. Even more shocking is that some people don't know about either one of us. To help with that there are a couple of things you can do. First is you can pick up some of our shiny glossy new business cards at the front desk when you come out and pass them out to your friends. Grab a few, that's what they're there for!
The second thing is to vote for Kick Butt Coffee and your other favorites in Rare Austin Magazine.
